The Big Midsummer Nature Celebration - at the Neyotts

Our five year celebration event is in just one week and we can't wait!

Join us all on Saturday, 21st June to celebrate our collective efforts that have made such a remarkable impact.

We have some exciting new additions to announce including:

Music

We have some special guests joining us from 2-4 with some lighthearted tunes played on keyboard and musical saw!

Neves Bees

We’re delighted to share that Local Eynsham brand, Neve’s Bees, will be present! Incredibly they will be donating every penny of sales made on the day to NRN – so do come and stock up on their award winning face care, natural deodorants, hand salves, lip balms and gift sets…as well as limited remaining stocks of Summer and Spring honey – foraged by the bees on Park Cottage Meadow and Longmead!

Plan your order before you come: https://nevesbees.co.uk/

Cast your vote for the People's Choice in our Photo Competition

(We are very grateful to our Local Coop and the Market Garden for contributing to the costs of printing and prizes)

Greetings cards, plant sale and cake!

We'll have some limited edition meadow related artprint greetings cards for sale. Alongside rare wildflower plants and homemade cakes and cool drinks (BYO cup).

Botanical Drawing Workshop - in Long Mead Barn

Remember to register in advance for this one-off workshop, also on Saturday 21st June, with local artist Julia Loken. Julia worked for 20 years as a botanical illustrator for Oxford University and her beautifully detailed drawings and watercolours are a feast for the eyes. She’ll share some of her techniques using a selection of rare wildflower plants from Long Mead.

Are you a member?

As the network continues to grow it is incurring significant costs to do what it is doing for our local nature.

Those of you who are not already members of NRN, we'd love you to join (£10 per year).

Please click here and give our local wildlife a present by becoming an NRN member! Not only will you be supporting compost/tool purchase etc. but you will get free access to all our survey workshops and discounted or no rates for workshops that we charge for.

We all look forward to sharing some time together in the Great Outdoors!
